Do you use your outdoor gear in the outdoors? I know I do. I am always very aware of how waterproof my gear is, because when it isn’t I get wet. I also know what I need to do when my gear needs a clean or re-waterproofing, if you need a refresher check out this. Now something I don’t often consider is the beating my gear takes from the sun. A lightweight nylon tent can loose half its strength in just two weeks of exposure to Northern summer sun. If your gear has gotten abused from the sun check this out.
