McRae Williams Claims Overall Top Spot
The AFP World Tour Finals took place this past weekend in Whistler, B.C. during the 20th annual World Ski & Snowboard Festival, where for the first time in a few years all three disciplines- Slopestyle, Halfpipe and Big Air- were a part of the event. Many of the top competitors in the world were in a attendance and they put on a show.
McRae finished second during the slopestyle finals, clinching the top overall spot over Gus Kenworthy and becoming the 2015 AFP Men’s Slopestyle World Champion. With 4,293.12 points, McRae earned this year’s title as a result of his top 5 slopestyle results, which included 7th at Dew Tour, 10th at X-Games, 2nd at USSA Grand Prix, 1st at SFR Freestyle Tour Finals and 2nd at AFP World Tour Finals.” Read More
